Regenerating the backside of the NDSM-wharf

On the backside of the NDSM-wharf behind the Scheepsbouwloods a private marina is found, a common
typology reoccurring in Amsterdam-North. A floating pontoon element is introduced in the marina, making the
water publicly accessible. The proposal intends to provide an architectural framework to could bring together
the visitors, users and inhabitants of Amsterdam-North, while giving an example of the potentiality of the
marina typology.
